Professor Kahlil M. is an American-born Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athlete and fourth-degree black belt with more than 35 years of martial arts experience. He has taught and coached Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as a black belt since 2009.

Kahlil began training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2001 and competing in 2002. Since then, he has participated in more than 400 matches, progressing from blue belt through black belt and earning over 150 medals. His accomplishments include seven World Championship titles and Canadian National titles in three divisions.

In addition to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kahlil has extensive experience in American Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Boxing, Karate, and Mixed Martial Arts.

Kahlil has also served as a referee at tournaments throughout the United States and Canada, officiating for several major grappling organizations. This experience has given him a well-rounded perspective as a competitor, coach, instructor, and official.

His teaching combines modern Jiu-Jitsu and grappling techniques with a strong emphasis on fundamentals, helping students develop a complete, practical, and well-rounded skill set.
